2 Plus 2 Disco
This is a real Caribbean disco. It features the regional sounds
of the islands, not only calypso and reggae but also salsa and
soca (a hybrid of calypso and reggae). Usually there's a DJ,
except on weekends when local bands are brought in. The place
isn't fancy or large; it has a black-tile dance floor with a
simple lighting system. Come here for Saturday Night Fever.Tuesday
through Sunday from 8:30pm to 2am and Friday and Saturday from
8pm to either 5 or 6am.

Cormorant Beach Club Bar
This romantic bar lies within a predominantly gay resort about
3 miles northwest of Christiansted. It caters both to clients
of the resort and to gay men and women from other parts of the
island. You can sit at tables overlooking the ocean or around
an open-centered mahogany bar, adjacent to a gazebo. The chairs
are comfortable and the lighting is soft. Excellent tropical
drinks are mixed here, including the house specialty, a Cormorant
Cooler, made with champagne, pineapple juice, and Triple Sec.

Divi Casino
After much protest and controversy, this casino introduced gambling
to St. Croix for the first time in spring 2000. Many visitors
who heretofore went to such islands as Aruba for gambling now
stay within the realm of U.S. possessions. The 10,000-square-foot
casino boasts 12 gaming tables and 275 slot machines. No passport
is needed to enter, but you do need some form of ID. There is
no cover charge. In lieu of a nightclub, the casino offers nightly
live music on an open stage on the casino floor. There are two
bars, a main bar plus a smaller cafe-style bar where you can
order light meals.
