At 84 square miles, St. Croix is
the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands and the rocky and arid
east end is actually the easternmost point of the United States.
As you travel to the west end of the island you’ll notice
a surprising contrast in climate, as the west is exquisitely
green and lush and even includes a small "rain forest"
of mango, mahogany, tree ferns. St. Croix is the only United
States Virgin Island entirely surrounded by the sparkling blue
Caribbean Sea and between the extremes of the east and west
lie miles of gorgeous white sand beaches.
From the snorkeling paradise of Buck
Island’s underwater gardens, to the postcard perfect beaches
of Sandy Point and Cane Bay, to the pulse pounding excitement
of its nightlife and casinos, St. Croix has everything the Virgin
Island vacationer could hope for…and then some.
